King Cole Fjord is a 100% anti-pilling acrylic yarn available in beautiful colourways. The colour change in this yarn creates a mock Fair Isle affect as you knit, so the simpler the pattern the better. Even for a novice knitter this yarn can help you create a stunning patterned garment or home accessory. This yarn is also suitable for crochet but will not achieve the same Fair Isle affect as knitting, despite this the yarn will still create something ultimately beautiful.

Great service

This wool is wonderful to knit with. It glides through the fingers and, as a result, it knits up fast. Lovely kind of Fair Isle effect appears when knitting which gives the impression you have been slaving over the garment for hours when this is not the case. Once I placed my order with the littlewoolshop, the wool arrived quickly. Great service and would use both this company and this type of wool again.

Super soft

You really have to get the tension right to see a pattern forming, if you don’t you get a random mark effect. I found it hard to keep the tension as the yarn is slippery. I’m only going to use it for small projects because you need to concentrate so much on the tension. However it’s beautifully soft and the colour is lovely
