DROPS ♥ You #9 is a soft and colourful cotton yarn, made from 100% recycled cotton.
As good for knitting as for crocheting, this yarn is specially suitable for summer wear, as well as interior pieces and accessories, and results in garments that breath well, are extra durable and machine washable - which makes it a great choice for childrenswear as well! Available in 19 colours including some beautiful denim shades.
This yarn has an Oeko-Tex® certification (certificate number 09.HBG.68250), Standard 100, Class I. This means that it has been tested and found completely free from harmful chemicals and that it is safe for human use. Class I is the highest level, and it means the yarn is suitable for baby articles.

The colours are gorgeous and don't fade in washing but it does split (working on 3.5mm hk using UK-dc/US-sc stitch). I'm using it to make crockery protection sheets - the yarn 'plumps' beautifully after boil washing to give yet more cushioning between plates and bowls. I love it despite the splitting, this is great yarn!
